Diploma in Interior Design Technology

The Interior Design Technology diploma prepares students to plan and design residential and commercial spaces, balancing practicality with creative considerations such as materials, colour and lighting. Coursework covers design history, technical drafting using industry-standard software, and 3D modelling, with students building a professional portfolio throughout the programme. The two-year diploma includes a 120-hour practicum with an established company in the industry, giving students applied experience before graduation. Lectures are delivered in a digital environment, while lab sessions are split between face-to-face and online learning cohorts. The programme is offered at Lethbridge Polytechnic's main campus with a September intake and is open to both domestic and international students.
