Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires English Language Arts 30-1 at 50% or 30-2 at 65% (or the equivalent ESLG 1860 at 50% / ESLG 1898 at 65%), completion of a related animal-sciences certificate or diploma, or the Open Admissions Pathway (HLTH 1013 and COMM 1001 at 70% or better); a free academic assessment can also satisfy the requirement. Non-native English speakers must submit proof no more than two years old: IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6, TOEFL iBT 84 with no section below 21, Cambridge English 180 with no section below 165, CAEL 70, PTE Academic 59 with no section below 56, or Duolingo 115. Applicants are recommended to have access to a computer with a stable internet connection, keyboarding and basic computer skills, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute, with full-time students expected to commit 40-50 hours per week. All prerequisite courses must be completed successfully before the practicum. The programme is not currently open to international students.
