Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires Grade 12 Language Arts (English 30-2) and Grade 12 Mathematics (Math 30-2 or Applied Math 30), plus NAIT's institution-wide English Language Proficiency requirement, which accepts IELTS Academic at 6.0 in each section, TOEFL iBT at 4.0 overall with 4.0 in each section, PTE Academic at 58, or Duolingo at 115 overall with no sub-score under 100, among other listed tests. Applicants missing the academic requirements may qualify through the Business Foundations Pathway (55% in each component), the NAIT Open Studies Pathway (COMM1101, ECON1110, MATH1180, ACCT1115 and ORGB1135 with an overall GPA of 2.0), or the Post-Secondary Credits Pathway (24 transfer credits or 8 courses with a 2.0 admission GPA). Applicants who have not yet met the English requirement may be eligible for provisional admission, completing NAIT ESL Level 6 courses within the first 12 months of the diploma.

International applicants follow the same rule but open earlier -- 1 August 2026 for Fall, 1 January 2026 for Winter, and 1 April 2026 for Spring. NAIT names no external application service; students apply directly at nait.ca. Admission is effectively rolling, and NAIT advises applying as early as possible since program status can change quickly with demand.
