Overview

The Seneca Polytechnic Liberal Arts University Transfer (LAT) Program is a transfer pathway allowing graduates of Seneca Polytechnic's two-year Liberal Arts University Transfer diploma to be considered for admission to a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at Queen's University's Faculty of Arts and Science. Students in the LAT diploma program receive dedicated support, smaller class sizes, and one-on-one advising aimed at meeting university admission requirements, and may apply to the diploma using University (U), University/College (M), or College (C) stream high school credits. On completing the diploma, students who meet Queen's eligibility and admission requirements, including program-specific requirements for their intended Arts and Science plan, may transfer into the corresponding Honours degree program at Queen's, with the combined diploma-and-degree pathway completed in as little as four years. The Faculty of Arts and Science offers more than 30 departments and schools for students to choose an Honours plan from after transfer.
