Overview
Employment Relations at Queen's is offered as a General (three-year) Bachelor of Arts plan administered by Employment Relations Studies. The plan provides coursework in human resources management and labour relations and is intended for continuing Queen's undergraduate students, who may select it as their plan of study after completing their first year. Employment Relations is also available as a Minor, which can be combined with a Major in another subject, and as a stand-alone undergraduate Certificate in Employment Relations. Courses cover contemporary workplace issues and prepare students for careers in human resources management and labour relations. The Employment Relations Studies unit also offers undergraduate courses that support students completing the General plan, the Minor, or the Certificate, as well as students in other Arts and Science programs seeking electives in employment and labour topics.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: This plan is a continuation option for current Queen's undergraduate students, who may declare the Employment Relations General plan after completing their first year of study; it is not a direct-entry first-year admission plan.
