The Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Management and Innovation (G.Dip PHMI) at Queen's Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences is a 10-month program designed to enhance the employability of graduates pursuing careers in the pharmaceutical and related health industries. It combines two online courses (Healthcare Innovation and Development; Healthcare Management and Commercialization), delivered from September to mid-December with case-study assignments, group presentations, and virtual live sessions, followed by a six-month, full-time paid internship at a partner company beginning in January. The program is tailored to recent graduates in health and science fields (MD, PharmD, PhD) from Canada and internationally, with course content developed with input from industry experts. Since 2018 the program has helped nearly 100 graduates secure full-time employment in industry, with internship placements typically in Toronto or Montreal, though other Canadian locations are possible.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: G.Dip PHMI is open to MD, PharmD, or PhD graduates in biomedical, pharmaceutical, public health sciences, or other STEM fields from a recognized university, with a minimum A- standing in their highest obtained degree; MSc graduates are only eligible if sponsored.
