This one-year certificate program prepares students for employment in the production of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and food products. Training takes place in RRC Polytech's pilot-scale production facilities and covers solid dosage manufacturing, applied biopharmaceutical production, and food processing operations. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with hands-on production experience to build the skills needed to work as a technician or operator on a manufacturing floor, including equipment operation and the quality and safety procedures used across the pharmaceutical, natural health product, and food production sectors. Graduates are prepared for entry-level technician and operator roles in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, natural health product, and food processing facilities.
