Diploma in Business Administration - Human Resource Management

Business Administration - Human Resource Management is a two-year diploma delivered through Red River College Polytechnic's Business Administration program. Students complete a common first term of core business studies before declaring the Human Resource Management major, subject to achieving a minimum term GPA. The major combines foundational business coursework with specialized training in recruitment, employee benefits administration, performance management, workplace culture, and labour relations. Graduates may qualify for exemptions toward the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. The program prepares graduates for human resources roles supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of an organization's workforce across public- and private-sector employers, including generalist and coordinator-level human resources positions. Coursework also introduces workplace health and safety, employment standards, and labour-relations fundamentals relevant to unionized and non-unionized workplaces.
