Engineering and Construction Technologies is a 16-month post-graduate diploma designed to help internationally educated architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals enter related professional work in Canada. The program uses hands-on, project-based learning across structural and municipal civil engineering technology and architectural technology, supported by industry partnerships that connect students to Manitoba's construction and engineering sector. A mandatory 24-week paid co-operative work term gives students Canadian workplace experience directly tied to their field. The curriculum also includes Indigenous history and reconciliation education alongside workplace inclusion training, preparing graduates for professional practice in Manitoba's construction industry context. The program runs at the Notre Dame Campus in Winnipeg. It is intended for diploma or degree holders in architectural, engineering, or construction-related fields from a recognized technical institute, college, or polytechnic who want to convert international qualifications and experience into Canadian workplace-ready credentials.
