Overview
Royal Roads has delivered this MBA for more than 20 years in a blended model of mostly online courses with two short on-campus residencies, so students can keep working while they study. It is offered in an 18-month or a 31-month option. Admission weighs professional and life experience, and no GMAT or GRE is required. The degree builds leadership, analytical and management capability with an emphasis on applying each concept immediately in the student's own workplace. Students tailor the program either by choosing a specialization, in leadership, management consulting or international business, or by completing a Royal Roads graduate certificate as part of the degree, and a dual MBA and Master of Global Management route is also available.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Standard admission requires a four-year (or comparable) undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, normally with at least five years of full-time relevant work experience including three years at a management level. Flexible admission instead requires at least ten years of full-time relevant work experience including five years at a management level, with work experience, education and professional development assessed holistically; no GMAT or GRE is required. Applicants must also demonstrate writing and accounting/numeracy competency, submit two reference letters, a statement of intent and a detailed resume; no minimum GPA is stated. English-language proficiency defers to Royal Roads' general requirement for third-year entry and graduate programs: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (minimum 6.5 in writing and speaking, 6.0 in listening and reading) or TOEFL iBT 88 overall (minimum 24 writing, 20 in listening, reading and speaking).
