PGCert in Hospitality and Tourism Management

This post-graduate certificate combines hospitality and tourism management training to prepare degree holders for management careers in hotels, restaurants, tourism, and facility operations. Coursework covers financial management, human resources, sales and marketing, leadership, business planning, and organizational behaviour. The program runs 32 weeks over one year and is offered at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Prince Albert campus, with small class sizes and increased one-on-one instructor time. Admission requires a conferred bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution, together with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's English Language Requirement. Students are admitted through the First Qualified/First Admitted process, with applications opening each September 1. Graduates are prepared to move into supervisory and management roles across the hospitality and tourism sector.
