Diploma in Practical Nursing is a diploma in Nursing programme offered by Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. The programme runs for 2 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 18,775 per year (CAD 3,326 per year for local students).
The two-year diploma combines classroom instruction with hands-on and simulation-based lab work and clinical placements guided by instructors in healthcare settings, preparing students to deliver safe, competent care in the role of a Registered Practical Nurse. Graduates find work in hospitals, community care, long-term care and other facilities, as well as in health-related services, programs and education, and become eligible to write the provincial regulatory exam for registration in Ontario; the program holds approval from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
