The manufacturing and basic design skills you developed in your first two years will be enhanced in the third year by focusing on detailed design and advanced manufacturing technologies. Requirements
Admission Requirements: This is a direct-entry pathway into the third year of Sault College's Mechanical Engineering Technology advanced diploma: the programme page requires completion of the two-year Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma plus successful completion of MTH551 (Calculus) and MCH125 (Mechanics of Fluids), or equivalent. The page defers English-proficiency and other general conditions to the college's institution-wide admission requirements: for diploma-level programmes these are IELTS Academic 6.0 (no band below 5.5), TOEFL iBT 79-80 (no section below 20), PTE Academic 60 (no band below 52), or Duolingo 110 (no band below 105), scores valid within two years of the start date. Missing prerequisite courses can be completed through the college's Academic Upgrading program at no cost.

International applicants apply directly to Sault College rather than through ontariocolleges.ca; the college states only that applications are reviewed within five business days of submission and publishes no fixed opening or closing date for international admission.
