Millwright/Machinist Certificate is a foundation in Trades programme offered by Selkirk College in Castlegar, Canada. The programme runs for 36 weeks, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 19,380 per total (CAD 5,400 per total for local students).
Classroom and workshop activities alternate throughout this program. Learners first cover the principles of both the millwright and machinist trades in lectures, then move to the shop to put that knowledge into practice, fabricating, installing, and maintaining the tools, machinery, and equipment used in industrial settings, working to precise standards.
