BA/BS in Corporate Environmental and Social Sustainability

Corporate Environmental and Social Sustainability is a certificate offered jointly by the Beedie School of Business and the Faculty of Environment at Simon Fraser University. It prepares students to address business sustainability challenges through integrated study of environmental science, business ethics and sustainable business practice. The certificate is available to students in a Business major, joint major, honours or joint honours program, and to students in a Bachelor of Environment program, and requires a minimum of 27 units. Course delivery is primarily in person at the Burnaby and Surrey campuses, with one course offered online. Students may complete either this certificate or the Sustainable Business joint major program, but not both. A minimum SFU Business course grade point average of 2.30 is required to enter 300- and 400-division business courses, and a minimum overall grade point average of 2.00 in courses applied toward the certificate is required for graduation.
