Global Environmental Systems: Bachelor of Environment Degree (BE) is a bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences programme offered by Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, Canada. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 1,263 per credit (CAD 216 per credit for local students).
This degree focuses on environmental issues, particularly the climate crisis, taking a global perspective on how social and biophysical systems intersect, such as housing development alongside the loss of wildlife habitat. Students examine the consequences of these interactions and ways their negative effects might be reduced, while also building skills in advanced data analysis and modelling. It qualifies graduates for a variety of careers connected to climate and the environment.
