Entrepreneurship and Innovation is one of nine concentrations available within Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Students learn to translate a business vision into a plan, identify market opportunities, secure funding, build and retain teams, and deliver goods and services cost-effectively, alongside studying how firms manage change driven by new and disruptive technologies. Concentration coursework includes Financial Foundations for Entrepreneurs, Real World Innovation, Project Management, New Venture Planning, New Product Development and Design, Leadership, and New Venture Finance. The BBA is an experiential-learning degree combining applied problem-solving with contemporary business principles through real-world class projects; students complete a minimum of 120 units, including at least 45 upper-division units, and declare their concentration once they reach 45 units. A minimum overall SFU Business course grade point average of 2.30 is required for entry into 300- and 400-division business courses and for graduation.

Admission Requirements: Admission to the Beedie School of Business follows Simon Fraser University's general undergraduate entrance requirements: BC high school applicants need a minimum of five approved Grade 12 courses, including English Studies 12 at 70% or higher, with admission based on an evaluation of approved Grade 11 and 12 coursework. Beyond general admission, a minimum overall SFU Business course grade point average of 2.30 is required to enter the 300- and 400-division courses that make up the Innovation and Entrepreneurship concentration, and a minimum grade of C- is required in prerequisite and lower-division coursework.
