Interactive Arts and Technology and Business is a joint major offered by the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, in the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology, together with the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. The program combines human-centred, technology-oriented design skills with business knowledge, preparing graduates for leadership roles that bridge digital media, interactive design, and commercial strategy. Students complete the school's interactive arts and technology concentrations alongside core business coursework and can graduate with either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Business Administration. To enter the joint major, students must first complete 24 units, at least 12 of them at Simon Fraser University, before transferring into the Beedie School of Business; admission to Beedie is competitive and based on minimum grade point average requirements. Courses are delivered at the Burnaby and Surrey campuses, with some sections offered online or in the evening. Graduates leave with combined technical, design, and business expertise applicable to technology-driven industries.
