Overview

Health at Trent University is a Bachelor of Science (Honours) program that examines the multidimensional concept of health as defined by the World Health Organization, covering physical, mental, and social well-being. The curriculum studies patterns of health and wellness, morbidity, and mortality from a multi-disciplinary perspective, with coursework in health measurement, health behaviour, health promotion models, program evaluation, and health communications. Students develop skills for analyzing population health issues and designing and evaluating health programs and interventions. The program prepares graduates for careers and further study in public health, health promotion, health policy, and related fields.

Minimum GPA: 75.00 / %
Admission Requirements: A secondary school diploma and six Ontario 4U or 4M courses with a minimum 75% average are required, including ENG4U, SBI4U, and at least one of MHF4U or MCV4U.
