The Master of Psychospiritual Studies (MPS) is a twenty-credit, post-baccalaureate degree at the Master's level that prepares graduates for leadership roles in social justice service, spiritual direction, and spiritual care. Students choose one of three specialised streams: Social Justice Ministries, Spiritual Direction, or Spiritual Care, combining coursework with supervised practice in the chosen area. Graduates are prepared for careers in lay ministry, nonprofit and community organisations, institutional chaplaincy, and other roles requiring integrated psychological and spiritual formation. The program can be completed in two academic years of full-time study, taking five courses per term across four terms, or part-time over a period of up to eight years. It is offered through Trinity College's Faculty of Divinity within the ecumenical Toronto School of Theology.
