Program details

Overview

This undergraduate program prepares students to practise as dietitian-nutritionists, combining coursework in human nutrition and food science with 1,400 hours of mandatory clinical placements across clinical nutrition, public health nutrition, food service management, and research settings. Graduates are eligible for professional licensure from the Ordre des dieteticiens-nutritionnistes du Quebec. The credential is a Baccalaureat en nutrition, a 120-credit, full-time program completed over four years at the Montreal campus, with a single annual intake in the Fall term. Admission requires a Quebec DEC or equivalent university studies, and selection combines a motivation questionnaire (70%) with academic record (30%). Applicants must complete a criminal background verification and required vaccinations before placements, given the clinical nature of the program, and are expected to have a laptop computer from the start of the program. Enrollment is limited.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Applicants need a Quebec DEC or equivalent university-level studies. Selection combines a motivation questionnaire, weighted 70%, with the academic record, weighted 30%.
