This Master's in Music, Interpretation option, is a 45-credit graduate program for voice and instrumental performers, developing technical mastery and artistic interpretation through concert repertoire study and research-creation coursework. Students have access to the Salle Claude-Champagne concert hall and receive master classes from visiting performing artists, alongside faculty with international performance networks. The program follows a thesis or research-creation pathway and is delivered full-time, with day classes, though part-time study is possible after the third term. Admission requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, such as a Bachelor of Music in Classical Instrument Performance or a DESS in Music Performance, along with a letter of presentation; the complete application file is evaluated qualitatively. Graduates pursue careers as concert soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians, and private instructors, or continue to doctoral studies in performance. Entry is offered for the Winter and Fall terms.
