Cert in Certificat en sciences de l'environnement

This Certificate in Environmental Sciences at Universite du Quebec a Chicoutimi gives students a foundational scientific grounding for addressing current environmental problems. Delivered on campus, the 30-credit program admits students in the fall and winter terms and can be completed as a stand-alone certificate or combined as a minor alongside another undergraduate program. Coursework builds core scientific competencies across the natural sciences as they relate to environmental issues, preparing students to understand and respond to contemporary environmental challenges. The program is open to holders of a Quebec DEC in any field, to applicants with an appropriate diploma in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or mathematics completed outside Quebec after at least thirteen years of schooling, and to applicants who have completed at least fifteen university-level credits with a cumulative average of at least 2.3 on 4.3. It suits students seeking an introductory, stand-alone credential in environmental science or a complementary minor to another program of study.
