This professional Master of Science in Computer Science at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi is aimed at working professionals who want to deepen their expertise in computer science, offered full-time or part-time with admission in fall, winter, and summer terms, delivered in person on the Saguenay campus. Admission Requirements: Regular entry requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, business computing, computer engineering, or a bachelor's with a major in video-game design, with a minimum cumulative average of 3.0/4.3; candidates averaging 2.8-3.0 may be admitted after committee review. Etudes-hors-Quebec applicants need a bachelor's in information technology or in fundamental/applied science obtained abroad after at least 16 years of schooling, with a minimum average of 13/20 in information-technology coursework (12-13/20 considered after committee review). A preparation-suffisante route admits candidates with the required knowledge, appropriate training and relevant experience, supported by a CV, reference letters, an employment attestation and a possible interview. The programme page states no dedicated French or English test requirement; non-native French speakers who struggle with the language may register for the supplementary course 7FRA419 - Francais global et actes de parole II outside the programme requirements.
