This bachelor's degree in computer engineering combines software design with computer systems knowledge, preparing graduates to work across hardware and software domains. The 120-credit program covers software development using recognized techniques, including graphics and artificial intelligence applications, alongside the design of internal computer circuits and interface circuits. Students develop skills in system integration and industrial process control, bridging computer science and electrical engineering disciplines. Mathematics prerequisites include differential calculus, integral calculus, and linear algebra with vector geometry. The program is delivered on campus at UQAC's Saguenay location, offered in both full-time and part-time study regimes, with admission possible in the fall and winter terms. The program is open to international applicants studying full-time, and graduates are prepared for careers in software engineering, embedded systems, and computer systems design.
