This 30-credit certificate offers university-level training in cultural animation and cultural intervention, offered at the Montreal and Laval campuses on a full-time or part-time basis with fall and winter admission. Twenty-one mandatory credits and nine elective credits (six from two designated tracks plus three free-elective credits) combine field practice with foundational knowledge spanning artistic creation, mass culture, socio-cultural leisure, and community work. The program prepares students to design and lead cultural programming and interventions across community, cultural, and leisure organizations.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Direct entry is via a DEC or equivalent diploma. Applicants with relevant experience may qualify at age 21 or older with appropriate knowledge. Those with prior university study need at least five university courses (15 credits) completed. Candidates with a diploma from outside Quebec need at least 13 years of schooling. All candidates must demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of written and spoken French. Admission is offered in the fall and winter trimesters.
