This Certificate in Kinesiology is a 30-credit, first-cycle undergraduate program covering exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, anatomy, sport psychology, neurophysiology, physical activity for special populations, and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits. Courses are generally delivered in person during the week. Admission is available through two routes: holders of a Quebec DEC (or equivalent) with no further prerequisites, and applicants without a DEC who can demonstrate relevant interest, acquired knowledge, and work experience gained within the five years preceding their application. All applicants must meet UQAR's French-language proficiency requirement or pass an institutional French exam. New students are admitted in the fall and winter trimesters, and the program can be completed full-time or part-time.
