Rehabilitation Services is a joint certificate offered by York University's Department of Psychology and Seneca College, completed alongside a York Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Coursework covers personality, health psychology, the rehabilitative process, types of disability, case management and interviewing, addressing the medical, physical, psychological, social, spiritual, vocational and economic aspects of rehabilitation for patients and their families. Students complete 800 hours of field placement over two years. On graduation, students receive a York BA or BSc in Psychology together with a joint York/Seneca Certificate in Rehabilitation Services. The program is offered full-time or part-time with a Fall start and is restricted to students already enrolled in York's Psychology degree program, giving them formal, transcript-recognized training in rehabilitation alongside their degree requirements.

Admission Requirements: Open only to current York students in the Psychology degree program who are in their second or third year; students in the Kinesiology & Health Science program may also apply provided they have completed the required psychology courses for the joint program.
