This Certificate in Psychoeducation is a 30-credit, first-cycle undergraduate program at Universite du Quebec a Rimouski that develops and updates students' knowledge of adaptation difficulties arising during childhood and adolescence, along with the prevention and intervention approaches used to address them. The program suits professionals and students working or planning to work with children, youth, and families in education, health, or social-service settings. It is delivered part-time and organized in cohorts rather than through continuous open enrollment. Admission is available through three routes: a Quebec DEC (or equivalent); completion of at least 15 credits of university-level coursework; or at least one year of relevant experience in social intervention. All applicants must meet UQAR's French-language proficiency requirement or pass an institutional French exam. Admission dates are set according to when each cohort forms rather than on a fixed recurring trimester.
