Overview
A 45-credit, individually designed course-based master's program for students whose research or study interests do not fit an existing discipline-specific program at Universite Laval. Students combine training activities from multiple fields within letters, humanities, and social sciences into a coherent program built around their own project, developed with a supervising professor's support. The program is completed full-time, normally over two years, with most courses on campus and some offered at a distance. It leads to a Master of Arts (M.A.) and exists specifically for students whose objectives cannot be met by an existing Laval master's program.

Minimum GPA:3.20 / 4.33
Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the proposed study project, with a grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.33 scale (or equivalent). Non-francophone applicants must demonstrate French proficiency through the TCF tout public test (minimum 600/699 on the required sections and 14/20 on written expression) or equivalent coursework. English proficiency is also required, evidenced by a VEPT score of at least 53/70, a TOEIC score of at least 675/990, or completion of an intermediate English course with a minimum grade of C.
