Individualized Program (Thesis, M.Sc. track) (Master's)

A 45-credit research-based individualized master's program in applied sciences for students whose research interests do not correspond to an existing Universite Laval program. The curriculum includes 3 mandatory credits in research methodology or scientific writing, 9 to 18 credits of coursework connected to the research project, and 24 to 33 credits of research activities culminating in a thesis. A research supervisor must confirm supervision before admission. The program is completed full-time, normally over two years, with most courses on campus and some available at a distance, leading to a Master of Science (M.Sc.), with admission for the Fall and Winter sessions.
