This professional Master's in Social Work develops advanced knowledge and intervention competencies in social work practice. Students design and carry out an intervention project addressing the needs of individuals, families, groups, or communities, and analyse the results in a comprehensive written report. The 45-credit programme combines theoretical coursework with practice-based learning and develops a critical understanding of social organisations and the broader socio-political context in which social work operates. The estimated full-time duration is two years, with a maximum of four years allowed for completion. Students without prior coursework in quantitative data analysis must complete an approved statistics course in their first year. The programme admits students in the fall term only. Graduates take on advanced clinical, administrative, and policy-related roles in social services, healthcare, and community organisations.
