Occupational Therapy (MSc)

The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSc(OT)) is a two-year, entry-level professional program delivered over six consecutive terms, combining in-person academic coursework with fieldwork placements. Graduates are trained as occupational therapists who work to promote health, social inclusion and social justice through meaningful occupation, addressing needs at the level of individuals, families, communities and society. Applicants require a four-year degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university or college, with at least two years of study including two terms on a full-time basis, and a sub-grade point average of 3.4 (as calculated by the Ontario Rehabilitation Sciences Programs Application Service, ORPAS) or better. All applicants must complete a Casper situational judgment test as part of the selection process, and final-year applicants must provide proof of degree completion before the program begins. Applications are reviewed on an annual cycle, with an early-January deadline and acceptance notifications issued in mid-May.
