This program leads to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (also offered as a Certificate) in Children, Childhood and Youth, offered by the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at the Keele Campus. The interdisciplinary curriculum draws on sociology, psychology, history and human rights to examine how childhood and youth shape identity, communities and society, while developing communication, research and problem-solving skills. Graduates are prepared for careers supporting children and youth across sectors such as education, social services, health and community organizations. Entry is available in the fall term only, for both first-year and upper-year students, with no winter or summer intake. The program suits students seeking an interdisciplinary social-science grounding specifically focused on childhood and youth issues.
