The Certificate in Accounting is a 30-credit undergraduate certificate at Universite de Sherbrooke, made up entirely of optional courses drawn from the accounting curriculum. It provides training in accounting and can be used to partially satisfy the requirements of the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.), letting students build accounting expertise either as a standalone continuing-education credential or as one component toward a full bachelor's degree. The certificate is aimed at people already working or with prior postsecondary study who want targeted training without committing to a full-time program. It is offered on a part-time basis at both the university's main Sherbrooke campus and its Longueuil campus, with admission for the fall, winter and summer terms, giving applicants three intake points per year across the two locations.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed a first-cycle microprogram in introduction to economics or management, or hold any other university diploma of at least 12 credits; or hold a Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC) awarded by the ministry responsible for post-secondary education in Quebec, or the equivalent for studies completed outside Quebec. Admission is offered for the fall, winter and summer terms, on a part-time basis, at the Sherbrooke and Longueuil campuses.
