This program covers graduate study in Kinesiology & Health Science, offered as a Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Fitness Science (MFSc, non-thesis) or Master of Athletic Therapy (MAT). It is primarily research-based, with opportunities to study physiology, neuroscience, biomechanics, and the socio-cultural dimensions of sport, physical activity, health and fitness behaviours. The MA and MSc options require a thesis and run over six terms full-time; the MFSc is a shorter, four-term non-thesis professional option; the MAT is a six-term clinical program that prepares graduates for athletic therapy practice and licensure. The program suits students seeking advanced training in exercise science, health research or clinical athletic therapy, whether aiming for further doctoral study, applied practice or health-sector careers.
