General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
The objective of the study programme is to prepare highly qualified specialists and managers with in-depth knowledge and advanced skills in business management and development. The programme is designed to develop analytical and strategic thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic and globalized business environment. Graduates of the programme will be prepared to take on leadership positions, solve complex business tasks by applying various theoretical approaches, modern methods, and technologies, conduct research, as well as continuously develop professionally and personally, adhering to principles of sustainability and ethics.
Learning outcomes:
1. Knowledge and transfer of training
1.1. Understand and be able to apply research methods based on social science theories, systematically analyzing and assessing practical business management phenomena under uncertainty; conduct professional activities and initiate change; uphold social, cultural, and ethical values. 1.2. Possess knowledge of business creation and management based on scientific research results, enabling the development and application of original ideas in business.
1.3. Understand and apply classical and contemporary business management theories, assess national business regulation and development policies, analyze global economic operations, and solve business management challenges in a changing environment.
2. Research skills
2.1. Be able to analyze and critically evaluate ideas for business management improvement, formulate arguments and assumptions, apply quantitative and qualitative methods in applied research.
2.2. Be able to critically analyze, systematize, and evaluate information from various data sources necessary for applied research in business creation, alternative management decisions, and their potential environmental impact; ensure information confidentiality.
2.3. Be able to integrate knowledge, innovatively manage complex business situations, make management decisions with incomplete information, initiate, organize, and conduct applied research, and interpret results from an interdisciplinary perspective.

3.1. Be able to solve non-routine, complex business management tasks under uncertainty, integrating knowledge from different fields, evaluating alternatives and potential uncertainties in business creation and development.
3.2. Apply a systematic approach, assess and develop new informational and organizational tools for business management decision-making and applied research.
3.3. Use the latest business activity and environmental research methods, understand the latest social research methods, their applications and limitations, and make innovative management decisions based on research results.

4.1. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with business representatives and other stakeholders, discuss practical issues of business creation and management, including idea presentation, business report preparation, consulting, and expert evaluation.
4.2. Plan, organize, and carry out work individually and in teams, initiate the preparation of action plans and projects, lead their implementation, assess team efficiency, analyze principles of team formation, task delegation, and coordination, and adhere to professional ethics and civic responsibility.
5. Personal abilities
5.1. Make independent management decisions in complex and uncertain situations, initiate and lead business activities, select directions for self-improvement, and engage in continuous self-learning.
5.2. Demonstrate critical, systemic, and logical thinking skills when making management decisions based on opportunity and consequence assessment, recognizing moral and social responsibility for actions and their ethical consequences.
Activities of teaching and learning:
The programme applies a practical, data-driven approach that allows students to not only understand business research methodologies but also apply them in real situations. The programme offers opportunities to work on real business cases, conduct experimental research, use big data analytics, and address complex organizational management issues. Various study methods are employed: traditional and interactive lectures, practical sessions, information search and summary tasks, case studies, projects, problem analysis and solving activities, individual and group work, reports, consultations, guest lectures, discussions.

The methods for assessing students' achievements: exams, project presentations, computer-based testing, problem-solving analysis, reports, seminars, individual and group work assessments, self-assessment, etc.

The content of the program is modeled in four main areas: Leadership and Management, Economics and Finance, Marketing and Analytics, Strategy and Innovation. The content of the Business Administration (MBA) program is formed in such a way as to ensure the consistent growth of students' knowledge, skills and attitudes.
The duration of the study program "Business Administration (MBA)" is 1 year of full-time studies (2 semesters).
The total scope of the program is 60 ECTS credits.
It is planned to review the subject descriptions annually and adjust them if necessary.

Optional courses:
Students of the study program will have the opportunity to individualize their studies according to their preferences. For the second semester of studies, students will choose one subject: Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship / Sustainable Business Development (6 ECTS). During the course of studies, students will be able to choose the language in which to report on the studies of the subject (including the Project). In addition, students will have the opportunity to study according to an individual study plan approved by the academic department.

The programme aims to contextualize future graduates' skills, enabling them to better understand the purpose and significance of their professional field, take moral responsibility for their work's impact on societal development, and strengthen their value system in alignment with European values. The studies are student-centered, offering choices, engaging in independent work, activating study and assessment methods, project-based activities, problem-based learning, etc. The programme strongly emphasizes experiential learning. It strives to balance traditional business management education with innovation. Innovation is ensured through research and studies, as well as close ties between business and academia, resulting in an integration of theory and practice and an appropriate level of internationalization.

Graduates of this second-cycle study programme will be able to work as business management specialists and executives in industry, trade, and service companies or the public sector. They will be capable of conducting business opportunity analysis, assessing business conditions (processes) and environment, engaging in (strategic) management, and identifying business development directions. Business management specialists will be able to create businesses, provide consultancy services, pursue careers in public administration, and work in applied research.
