BA/BS in Business Economics

This economics degree aims to produce creative, analytical economists able to solve both traditional and innovative business problems while forecasting micro- and macroeconomic trends. Alongside 153 ECTS of core economics subjects, the structure includes fifteen credits of practical training, a fifteen-credit final project and eighteen credits of elective and portfolio work. The curriculum adds grounding in humanities and social science subjects to give students broader context for their field, alongside a strong emphasis on experiential learning through projects, problem-based tasks and simulation. Career paths highlighted include work with Belarusian businesses that have relocated to Lithuania and Poland, many of them in IT, digital engineering and instrument engineering, where demand for skilled economists is strong.
