Overview
This master's programme gives a current, holistic grounding in human resource management, building the competencies to design, roll out and refine HR solutions for organisations at home and abroad. Coursework runs from contemporary HR theory through managing people across borders, labour law, leadership, change, HR analytics, pay structures, project management and talent management, with electives covering digital business transformation, data analysis, corporate reputation and the circular economy, ending in a final master's project. Learning outcomes include applying current management knowledge to unfamiliar HR problems, reworking modern HR theory into fresh HR innovations, pulling together and judging research data for HR work, and untangling complex HR problems in a fast-shifting setting through a joined-up approach. Students also learn to put HR research and practice across to experts and non-specialists alike, run expert reviews of HR questions, and lead HR work while owning the moral and social weight of its effect on society, culture and the environment.
