BA/BS in Artificial Intelligence

This artificial intelligence programme develops the competences needed to build AI-based computational systems that replicate human decision-making, with particular emphasis on data processing algorithms, machine learning, and image and speech recognition. Subjects move from cognitive neuroscience applications, object-oriented programming and discrete structures through data processing and analysis, multi-agent systems and algorithms for big data to machine learning, deep learning, image processing and speech recognition algorithms, closing with cloud computing for AI, a professional internship and the bachelor's final project. Students also study the ethics, legal requirements and data-protection rules relevant to designing trustworthy AI systems. Electives extend into AI for gaming and robot programming technologies. Teaching and assessment proceed module by module through classroom and individual study. Graduates can design system architectures, build hybrid intelligence solutions, and deliver AI projects through the full software life cycle from requirements to testing and deployment.
