MA/MS in Management

The programme develops the ability to identify and critically assess strategic management problems and to respond to them with interdisciplinary research methods and innovative resource-management tools, building toward strategic human-resource, marketing and finance solutions grounded in leadership practice. Teaching covers marketing management and the methodology of scientific research, together with social responsibility, strategic human-resource management, business analytics, change management and project management, with elective options in strategic leadership, quality management, management of educational innovation and financial management decisions. Study combines classroom lectures, laboratory and seminar work and site visits with independent study, and concludes with a research project and a final degree project defended before completion. Graduates are prepared to manage financial, marketing, logistics, human-resource or accounting departments within businesses and organisations, to take on business-consulting work, to lead a school as headteacher, or to work as a researcher, with access to third-cycle doctoral studies.
