This two-year programme develops the pedagogical competence teachers need to work in a changing school environment, combining core pedagogy modules with a sixty-credit subject specialism chosen from mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics, engineering technology or music. Compulsory study covers developmental and educational psychology, didactics, curriculum planning, general and special pedagogy, and teacher career development, framed by two pedagogical internships and a final degree project. Students learn to critically evaluate educational-science theories, design curricula adapted to different learner needs, combine quantitative and qualitative methods to assess pupil progress, and support pupils' confidence and thinking skills while accounting for individual starting points and difficulties. Teaching draws on design thinking, challenge-based and experiential learning, creative workshops and reflective practice, with assessment through laboratory examinations, portfolios, engineering projects and a share of marks for classroom participation. Graduates can work in institutions offering formal and informal education and related educational services.
