BA/BS in Public Administration

This programme trains public-administration specialists to analyse problems, think critically and make evidence-based management decisions, while involving citizens and stakeholders in public management and staying alert to public interests and ethical principles. Coursework covers the theories and research methods of public administration, the systems through which the state is steered, the legal basis for public-sector activity, and how public-sector organisations are financed, alongside dedicated modules on civil service, public-service delivery, quality management, corruption prevention, and both the Lithuanian and EU public-administration systems. Learning is assessed through individual projects, seminars, case analysis, examinations, papers and tests, and includes a research-practice component. Graduates are described as suited to roles such as policy analyst, advisor, auditor, project developer or specialist across public, non-governmental and private-sector organisations.
