BA/BS in Finance analytics

This programme, formally titled Applied Systems of Finance and Accounting, trains students to understand financial processes, financial management and accounting principles while applying information technology to gather, process and analyse financial data. Each semester combines coursework spanning finance, accounting, informatics, modern languages and general education, and from the third year students choose a specialisation track in either finance or accounting across three semesters of optional courses. A professional internship and the final Bachelor's thesis occupy the last semester. Assessment is cumulative, built from colloquia, laboratory work, case studies, team projects and individual tasks. The programme places particular emphasis on informatics skills and competence in a Scandinavian language. Graduates can work as accountants, financiers, auditors, finance analysts or brokers in banks, investment firms and insurance companies, in Lithuania or abroad, or continue into master's study in economics, business administration or information science.
