BA/BS in Business and Law

This programme combines business administration with legal training, aiming to produce specialists who can identify and resolve problems in business regulation by applying both management theory and legal norms. Coursework builds knowledge of management and business-administration paradigms alongside core legal concepts, and develops research skills for applying statistical and mathematical methods to business and legal questions, including the use of mathematical models for optimisation problems. Graduates are expected to plan and organise their own and team work, communicate professional opinions clearly in speech and writing, and apply legal norms when justifying business-organisation and administration decisions. The course also covers establishing and developing companies, managing business relationships and risk, and understanding the legal environment surrounding business activity, with an emphasis on ethical and tolerant professional conduct toward partners and consumers from different cultures.
