BA/BS in Emergency Medical Aid

This programme prepares highly qualified paramedics to assess patient conditions independently and collaboratively, deliver urgent care in acute and life-threatening situations, and manage emergencies while applying evidence-based practice and safeguarding the quality and safety of care. Learning outcomes include recognising acute health disorders through knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology, delivering care under approved protocols and evaluating its effectiveness, applying telemedicine technologies, coordinating with other institutions during mass-casualty incidents, and justifying decisions while taking responsibility for outcomes. Coursework covers emergency procedures, pre-hospital and clinical emergency practice, pathophysiology, toxicology, acute surgical, obstetric, paediatric, and psychiatric conditions, and specialised resuscitation care, with fifty-one credits of practical training across several placement stages and a final thesis. Simulation exercises use multifunctional training manikins, and the programme's international partnerships let students study or intern abroad. Graduates who complete the professional bachelor's qualification may have their results credited toward further university and postgraduate study.
