Overview
The programme trains students to operate, maintain, and control automated manufacturing systems, covering the mechanical structure of production equipment alongside pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components. Coursework spans applied mathematics, physics, workplace safety, and engineering graphics, building toward modules on mechanical-pneumatic-hydraulic systems and automation equipment maintenance. Students complete professional, mechatronics, and operational internships, with practical training making up a large share of the overall credit load.
Elective tracks let students choose between electrical installations or electronic systems, work organisation or manufacturing organisation, and process control or robot control, plus a foreign-language option. Learning outcomes include designing control algorithms, programming automatic control devices, and selecting and testing mechanical and electrical equipment to specification. Graduates are prepared to service automated production equipment such as conveyors, sensors, controllers, and robotic gear, with a pathway to continue into further higher-education study.
