This programme prepares specialists in transport and logistics by combining business and economics theory with engineering fundamentals, covering passenger and freight transport technology, logistics information systems and the methods used to analyse and solve problems in the sector. Teaching draws on problem-based lectures, practical seminars, case studies, site visits, independent work and term papers, with learning assessed through tests, reports, projects and a final thesis defence. Students work with data and information systems to study transport and logistics processes, learn to apply financial tools and relevant legislation when shaping business strategy, and take part in cognitive and industrial internships as part of the course. A specialisation is offered in either transport economics or transport logistics, and graduates are described as suited to roles in transport administration bodies, traffic-control organisations and freight or passenger transport companies, as well as adjacent fields such as production, sales and insurance.
