BA/BS in Business Digitalization Management

Subjects move from informatics, programming fundamentals, and digital organisation management through business process and quality management, databases and information systems, business intelligence and data mining, change and project management, and intelligent process automation, with two professional internships and a semester project leading to a final bachelor's project. Electives extend into artificial intelligence in business processes, financial technologies, and data analytics, alongside a foreign-language option at an advanced level. Learning outcomes include defining how an organisation's functions interact with each other and with the external environment, applying leadership, change-management, and project-management theories to digital transformation projects, and interpreting socio-technical theories of human-technology interaction to justify performance improvements and assess their impact. Students also learn to use business intelligence and data-analytics tools to build performance-evaluation systems, apply intelligent process automation to improve organisational processes, and communicate change projects persuasively, in writing and orally, to clients, business partners, and interdisciplinary teams of information-systems specialists and data scientists.
