Cert in Examen Facultatum for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap

Examen facultatum is a 10-credit preparatory course for higher education in the humanities and social sciences. The Volda variant gives an overview of these fields. Many Norwegian university programmes make it compulsory, and it can also be taken as a standalone course for general insight into these subjects. Teaching is on campus and the course is studied part-time. The course prepares students for university-level study in the humanities and social sciences. Students who want general insight without enrolling in a degree can complete it on its own.
